No
translations any more - just inclusive language support.
Reading English texts I always face
problem with uncommon words, idioms, phrasal verbs, geographical names (which I
never can place on the map) and etc. Normally, I use one or three
dictionaries to understand what is written in correct way. Sometimes I can't
find correct answers. All that takes a lot of time and efforts and finally
upsets me.
It's about a service. My idea is to provide possibility of easy reading for all people like me. I wish to arrange a reader-facing site "BookHelper"for 2ND language readers with necessary crisp definitions and even photos integrated in the original English texts to explain and to
illustrate all difficult places.
That allows people to read original texts (not translations) much easier and learn new English words using all texts as textbook.
Yes, this is my hobby for now. I invite everyone to participate this project.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with your propositions or comments. Thank you.
What can I say to publishers? Be closer to the needs of millions of 2ND
language readers around the world and make new media platform
helpful and popular.
What can I say to prospective readers? Enjoy easy reading of original texts and study
language simultaneously! No numerous translations necessary any more.
Fun fact! Samuel Johnson left the letter X out of his dictionary, claiming that X "begins no word in the English language.
